From being in a position of 'year after year' of not being structured correctly and therefore not managing their income wisely, thus wasting countless thousands of dollars in past interest payments and tax, and then by getting on the right path and being disciplined, some have been able to buy a second investment property only weeks after their first investment property construction was completed!
Scott bought his first investment property when he was only 19 years of age from the advice of his father who was, and is still a licensed real estate agent.
Scott thought he would get some professional advice from an accountant before he signed the papers. To his surprise, the accountant was less than encouraging stating that "he was too young, and the risk was too large, and that he himself would never consider it!"
Confused and disappointed, Scott advised his father of the account negative response, to which his father responded, "Don't be stupid son, look at the fruit on the tree of the accountant and compare it to many of my real estate agencies clients that invest in property"! There was an obvious clear difference! Scott's father then advised him, "The best time to start investing is today! Take the plunge, and if something was to go wrong, work a bit harder to rectify the problem, or just sell the property!". Scott took his father's advice, and has never looked back since.
Recognising the need for sound financial advice in the industry, this sequence of events eventually elevated the boys to a position of giving their growing client base general advice to help people get out of the rut.
Out of the first 10 clients they saw, they received the next 5 clients from referrals - a pattern that has been consistently repeated ever since.
